The New Addition

So, it's been a long while since we posted. Our mom, Kat, has since gotten a new pet to add to the family clan. Her name is Cricket, and she's... a DOG! Kat gave Sir Henry, our hamster, to her mom's neighbor, and replaced her with a big dog. She's actually very nice to us, though, although sometimes she barks at us when she gets excited and wants to play. She's almost 4 months old and is 1/2 black lab, 1/2 treeing walker coonhound. We just thought you'd want to know!

Our Friends & Family Kitties

This is a shoutout/"meow-out" to all of our cat friends/family (and a dog who should be a cat!)

Karma:
You saw Karma in the "Cat in a Box" post, but here's a couple more cute ones of her. She used to live with me (Garcia) before her mom, Kelly, moved her back up North. She came back to visit not too long ago, but she didn't have fun and hid under the bed hissing all weekend. :-(
PS: There's a lot of her because she lived here for a long time and she's come over to visit a lot. Look how cute she and I (Garcia) were when we were kittens!!

Sherbert:
Sherbert was also in the "Cat in a Box" post, and here he is visiting our apartment with his mom, Jess, one night. This picture is like an I-Spy because we're both (Bo & Sherbert) in it, but we're hard to see! He didn't like us too much, I think he was intimidated because it was 2 on 1. Sorry Sherby!
PS: We couldn't resist stealing a picture from Jess' Facebook page of him driving (illegally and underaged!!) as a kitten! How cute?

Baby:
Baby is owned by Kat's mom, and she lives with Maggie May. She's really cool and we follow her everywhere. She's a lot older and so we admire her!

Maggie May:
Maggie is a very shy kitty. She hides from us and hisses at us when we go to her house to visit. She has a really cool chin, though, huh? She also belongs to Kat's mom.

Rudolph/Rudy:
Rudy is Kat's dad's cat. He's really old, like 15 or 16, and we've never actually met him because we hear he's really, really, mean. But he's black like me (Gar), and Karma, so I approve.

*We can't find any pics of him, sorry! But he's still an important part of the family!

Kahlua:
Kahlua is Kat's stepmom's new kitten. He's a Bengal, which is a really cool breed of cat- almost as cool as Manx! We haven't met him either, because he lives in Florida with Rudy, but we hope we get to soon.

Sarge:
Sarge is Kat's sister, Melissa's, cat. He's cool and black too (it must be a popular choice in our circle, huh? He's my age (Bo) and we had a lot of fun with him at the river over the winter!

Tigger:
Tiggy's Kat's cousin's cat, and she's known him since she was only around 6 years old! He's one of the fattest kitties and he's very nice. I hope we get to meet him!

Dixie:
Dixie's actually a dog (duh), but she is so nice and calm that she might as well be a cat. She and I (Garcia) get a long really well and although Bo's a little afraid of her, I try to tell him that Dixie's a big softy. Isn't she adorable? She lives with Baby and Maggie and is Kat's mom's cat. Her brother (mom's sister's dog), Tucker, is around a lot, too, and he's kind of cool because he's afraid of us, so he'll get a celeb shot/spot! :)

RIP:
Bo (the orginal Bo, he was Baby's sister), Derby (our mom's cat before we were born), Bucky (she was 21 when she died and a badass kitty cat!) + Tiki (Dixie's mom, a dog who would have been nice to us, too!)

Utz-Oh! Yummy Crab Chips

So, Mom (from now on referred to as Kat) gave us some Utz "The Crab Chip"s tonight. They were amazing. We both really like certain people foods, but are also picky about weird things.

Garcia: My favorites are creamed corn, BBQ chicken, french fries, and now crab chips!!

Bo Diddley: Mine are McDonald's burgers, cheese, any kind of meat, and of course, the famed Utz Chesapeake Bay crab chips.

Yummmmmm...

Anyway, our litter box is stinky (probably because all of this people food) so we should go clean that now!! Adios, gatos.

The Wii & Me

GARCIA: ¡Hola! So, today, I fell asleep facedown on the Wii a few times, and my mom/pet, Kat, thought it was funny so she took some pictures of me:

That's about all I did all day besides sleep under the couch and eat tuna (ew- Bo and I don't like tuna but Kat doesn't understand), so sorry there's not more to update you on, but don't I look cute on the Wii?!

Everyone's Favorite Pose

BO: So, I sit like a human a lot. It seems to make all the real humans who meet me laugh, so I keep doing it to get attention- constantly! I'm just so cute and funny, how can people resist? Everyone assumes either my mom/owner or dad/owner poses me like this, but it's just how I am most comfortable! Anyway, here are a few of my personal favorites of me just hanging out:

^ Just relaxin' on the couch ^

^ Watchin' TV ^

^ Covering my cards on poker night ^

^ Yellin' for another beer while I kick ass in cards ^

^ Everyone has their vices ^

^ About to pass out ^

^ Holdin' on to my drink ^

^ Garcia occasionally tries sits like me, but it's a rarity ^

"It's the Cats in a Box"

We're sure many of you have heard of Maru the Cat, but it's a cat (with his own blog, here: http://sisinmaru.blog17.fc2.com/) that climbs/jumps in all these different things like boxes, bags, (safe, right?), etc. It's hilarious, and so we thought we would link to a video or 2 of it, and then close with a couple pictures of ourselves inside of things (and by things, we mean assorted beer boxes)

Here's a link to a few Maru videos (Because we're just cats and not quite smart enough to figure out how to embed a video! "Lo siento"-Gar):

And here some Maru-esque photos of us:

Me (Bo) in a Southpaw box:

Me (Gar) in a Budweiser box:

Also, a shoutout to Karma (in Busch box), my old roommate and sisterfriend who lives too far away now! -Gar

Finally, here's Sherbert, our friend Jess' cat who was kind of freaked out the only time he met us (in a photo printer box)

Sleeping and Squirrels

Bo Diddley: Since my collar is orange, I think I will write in orange today. I've been napping on the couch with my mommy/owner all day while she caught up on last night's finale of Lost...crazy show! I like to chase the arrow around on the screen when she's trying to click something, and she gets kind of pissy about this. Garcia always tries to lie on the keyboard, which pisses mommy/owner off even more, because Gar will accidently push buttons and cause the computer to malfunction and go crazy! I just fell back asleep (I know, multi-talented: sleeping and posting a blog all at once! I'm a wild man) and I'm snoring loudly and chasing something in my dream because I keep making weird squeaking sounds and kicking around a little.

Garcia: This is the color of collar, so I'll follow Bo's example. I laid with mom/pet and Bo earlier, booooring. They are just too lazy for me. I decided to watch the squirrel on our back porch for an hour straight. He kept coming and going, coming and going. He was climbing in mom/pet's planters, but she let him do it because it was keeping me entertained and got me doing my funny mouth thing where I make a weird sound and move my mouth frantically. It makes people laugh so I keep it up. Then, Bo and I had a shower curtain fight, where he stands on the outside and pushes against the curtain while I stand on the inside on the tub and he always knocks me in! Luckily, no water in there today. Now I'm going to climb back into the hole I've made in the bottom of the couch and pass out for the next few hours. Adios (I'm a very smart cat and know a few choice words in Spanish).

This is us watching the squirrel:
